Laurel Pregnancy Center (LPC), located in Laurel, understands the difficulties you may be facing and you’ll be able to talk with someone who will listen. LPC will give you information you can trust and offer free services that are always confidential.
Centro Tepeyac Women’s Center in Silver Spring offers fully bilingual services in English and Spanish. Centro Tepeyac has served mothers and their families since 1990, not only encouraging them to choose life, but offering a holistic approach to care— empowering them through knowledge and addressing their needs from spiritual to material.

Wellspring Life Ministry has been serving Annapolis, Bowie, Severna Park, and the surrounding communities since 1982. They provide free medical services, options counseling, education, and community referrals for women and families.
Care Net Pregnancy Center of Frederick offers free services for women facing an unexpected pregnancy in Frederick County and the surrounding area. They offer pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, STI/STD information, family services, post-abortion services, parenting resources, and more.
Gabriel Network is based in Crofton. For over 30 years, Gabriel Network has served women and children in Maryland and Washington, DC. Through a network of churches and volunteer teams, they provide comprehensive, compassionate support to pregnant and parenting moms and their families.
Greater Baltimore Center for Pregnancy Concerns, founded in 1980, offers pregnancy testing, sonograms, abortion pill reversal, and resources to help women with education, employment, healthcare, housing, addiction recovery, post-abortive healing, and more. Their medical services facility is located next to an abortion facility in downtown Baltimore.
Shady Grove Pregnancy Center, located in Gaithersburg, opened its doors in 1983. They offer free pregnancy testing, limited ultrasound, and information on all your pregnancy options. Adoption
Many women facing an unexpected pregnancy move immediately to the two most common options: parenting and abortion. But the third option, adoption, is often overlooked. Some of this is because popular culture has misrepresented what adoption really is or because it’s difficult to picture bringing a baby into the world and then placing that baby with another family.
You might have concerns like, “What if that family didn’t take good care of my baby?” or, “What if I live the rest of my life wondering what happened to my child?”
Those are normal questions, but they don’t necessarily mean adoption isn’t right for you. All they prove is that you already have maternal feelings for the baby inside you. It means that you are already becoming a loving mother, whether you will raise your child or entrust him or her to a loving adoptive family. One thing that is helpful to know is that there are three common types of adoption: open, semi-open, and closed.

Perinatal Hospice Care
Perinatal hospice programs provide special support and care through pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum in the case of an unborn baby who is likely to die before or shortly after birth. When a mother learns that her unborn child is ill and likely won’t live long, the news is devastating. Perinatal hospice provides medical, spiritual, and emotional support during this difficult time.
As prenatal testing becomes increasingly routine, more parents are learning devastating news before their babies are born. In too many places, the ability to diagnose has raced ahead of the ability to care for these families and their babies. But in a beautiful and practical response, more than 370 pioneering hospitals, hospices, and community-based organizations in the U.S. and around the world are now providing perinatal hospice and palliative care support for families who wish to continue their pregnancies with babies who likely will die before or shortly after birth.
A perinatal hospice approach walks with these families on their journey through pregnancy, birth, and death, honoring the baby as well as the baby’s family. Perinatal hospice is not a place; it is an extraordinary way of caring for the pregnant mother, the baby, the father, and all involved with dignity and compassion and love. They understand, first-hand, the need to support families who, after making this courageous, loving decision to continue the pregnancy, often feel isolated and alone. Isaiah’s Promise serves families in the greater Washington DC metropolitan area.
Post-Abortion Healing
Women and men may find they experience difficulty in their lives – months or even years after an abortion(s). Support for Pregnancy Help Centers
Maryland Right to Life is a strong ally to the more than three dozen pregnancy help centers in our state.
At the Maryland General Assembly, we defend the ability of pregnancy help centers to operate free from government intimidation or coercion. We advocate for their freedom of speech, religious liberty, and rights of conscience. And we fight back against pro-abortion lawmakers’ attempts to target them with onerous regulations intended to force their closure. Our legislative team ensures pregnancy help centers can continue to work on the front lines assisting moms and saving lives in Maryland.
Along with our grassroots network of local chapters, we support pregnancy centers with diaper drives, fundraisers, volunteers, and more. We educate the public about pregnancy help centers and promote their services at fairs, church gatherings, on college campuses, through social media, and at other community events.
At this year’s Maryland Right to Life Convention, we put a spotlight on pregnancy help centers with an insightful panel discussion featuring executive directors from several Maryland-based centers.
Pregnancy help centers outnumber abortion facilities in Maryland. You can find them in western Maryland, urban areas like Baltimore, rural counties, the suburbs around DC, our state capital in Annapolis, and on the Eastern Shore.
The total estimated materials and services provided by pregnancy help centers in Maryland in 2024 was valued at more than $5.43 million dollars, serving over 10,000 women, men, and youth, according to an in-depth report by the Charlotte Lozier Institute with assistance from the Maryland Coalition of Medical Pregnancy Centers. This amounted to more than 46,000 client sessions!
